Patriksson Group is looking for a Communication Manager – PR Specialist to join our team, working with local and international clients across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, tech and culture.
In this role, you will combine client and project management with strong expertise in PR, earned media and media relations. You will develop news angles and narratives, drive media outreach and identify opportunities that build visibility, credibility and cultural relevance for our clients.
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative PR professional with strong knowledge of the Swedish and International media landscape and an established network of journalists, editors and relevant industry contacts. You thrive in a fast-paced, creative and international environment and have a strong understanding of media, culture and current trends.
The position is based at Patriksson Group’s Stockholm office.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing day-to-day client relationships and communication projects, ensuring smooth delivery, timelines and budgets.
Developing and executing PR strategies and earned media activations aligned with client objectives.
Creating strong messaging, news angles, storytelling concepts and media narratives that build brand relevance and visibility.
Leading proactive and reactive media outreach, pitching and press relations.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, creators, influencers and relevant industry stakeholders.
Identifying cultural trends, media opportunities and relevant conversations that can generate earned attention for clients.
Creating and adapting press materials, including press releases, Q&As, pitches and other media assets.
Managing media lists, press samples, product communication and relevant influencer relations and activations.
Managing PR events, press trips and brand activations, including guest management and securing relevant media and influencer attendance.
Providing clients and internal teams with specialist PR counsel, media insights and recommendations.
Monitoring, measuring and reporting PR activities and translating results into actionable learnings.
Collaborating closely with colleagues across disciplines and markets, while contributing PR perspectives to client development and new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL SKILLS
Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience within PR, Communications, Marketing or a similar field, either agency-side or in-house. Experience within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, culture or adjacent creative industries is highly meriting.
Strong expertise within PR, earned communications and media relations.
Excellent knowledge of the Swedish media landscape and a relevant network of journalists, editors and industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in media pitching and developing news angles, narratives and stories that generate earned attention.
Strong client management and project management skills, with the ability to manage several clients, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
A strategic and creative mindset, combined with the ability to turn insights and ideas into concrete communication activities.
Strong understanding of current affairs, cultural movements, media developments and trends relevant to our clients.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Proactive, solution-oriented and flexible, with the ability to identify and act on opportunities.
Collaborative and comfortable working across teams, disciplines and markets.
Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
The Communication Manager – PR Specialist combines strong client management and project leadership skills with deep expertise in earned communications and media relations. The role is ideal for someone who understands not only how to execute excellent PR, but also how brands can earn attention, credibility and relevance in an evolving media and cultural landscape.
This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period. Employment start will be according to agreement.
